子太草(しだくさ) Shidakusa(Lepisorus thunbergianus, Weeping fern)
子太草(しだくさ)が何なのかについてはいろいろな説があるようですが、軒忍(のきしのぶ)だと言う説が有力とされているようです。軒忍(のきしのぶ)は、ウラボシ科のシダです。樹木、岩、萱(かや)葺(ぶ)き屋根や軒下(のきした)に生えます。
- There are various theories as to what Shidakusa is, but it seems that the theory that it is Nokishinobu is widely accepted. Nokishinobu is a fern belonging to the family Polypodiaceae. It grows on trees, rocks, thatched roofs and under eaves.
