和我屋度能 伊佐左村竹 布久風能 於等能可蘇氣伎 許能由布敝可母

よみ

我が宿(やど)の いささ群竹(むらたけ) 吹く風(かぜ)の 音のかそけき この夕(ゆふへ)かも

- Waga yado no Isasa muratake Fuku kaze no Oto no kasokeki Kono yuuhe kamo.

意味

我が家の庭のすこしばかりの竹(たけ)の茂みに吹いてくる風(かぜ)の音がかすかに聞こえるこの夕方です。

・いささ群竹(むらたけ)の「いささ」はわずか、少しばかりという意味、「群竹(むらたけ)」は群がって生えている竹(たけ)のことです。

- This evening, I can faintly hear the sound of the wind blowing through the small bamboo thicket in my garden. ("Isasa muratake": Isasa means "slight" or "a little," while muratake refers to a cluster of bamboo growing together.

天平勝宝５年(西暦７５３年)２月２３日に詠まれた歌です。
