瓜(うり) Uri(Oriental melon)
瓜(うり)は、ウリ科キュウリ属のつる性一年草の甜瓜(まくわうり)のことです。夏に黄色い花をつけます。古代に中国から伝わり、当時から食用にされてきました。
- "Uri" is an oriental melon, a vine-like annual plant belonging to the genus Cucumis of the Cucurbitaceae family. It has yellow flowers in the summer. It was introduced from China in ancient times and has been edible since that time.
