龍田本宮(たつたほんぐう)/龍田彦(たつたひこ) Tatsutahongu Shrine

万葉集に「龍田彦(たつたひこ)」と詠まれているのは、現在の奈良県生駒郡三郷町(さんごうちょう)の龍田本宮(たつたほんぐう)/龍田大社と考えられています。天武天皇(てんむてんのう)の時代に風の神である龍田比古(たつたひこ)と龍田比女(たつたひめ)をこの地に祭ったとされています。

- It is believed that the name "Tatsutahiko" in the Manyoshu is the current Tatsutahongu / Tatsuta-Taisha Shrine in Sango Town, Ikoma District, Nara Prefecture. It is said that during the time of Emperor Tenmu, the gods of the wind, Tatsutahiko and Tatsutahime, were enshrined here.
