鞆の浦(とものうら) Tomonoura
鞆の浦(とものうら)は広島県の沼隈(ぬまくま)半島の東南にある福山市鞆町(ともまち)付近の湾・海域をいいます。昔は、瀬戸内の交通の重要な場所でした。遣唐使(けんとうし)や遣新羅使(けんしらぎし)もここの港に立ち寄ったようです。
- Tomonoura is the bay and sea area near Tomomachi, Fukuyama City, which is located southeast of the Numakuma Peninsula in Hiroshima Prefecture. In the old days, it was an important place for traffic in the Seto Inland Sea. It also seems that Kentoushi(Public diplomatic mission dispatched to Tang) and Kenshiragishi(Public diplomatic mission dispatched to Silla) had anchored at this port.
鞆の浦(とものうら)を詠んだ歌
万葉集には４首に詠まれています。いずれも旅の途中で詠んだ歌ですが、そのうちの２首は大伴旅人(おおとものたびと)の歌です。
0446: 我妹子が見し鞆の浦のむろの木は常世にあれど見し人ぞなき
0447: 鞆の浦の礒のむろの木見むごとに相見し妹は忘らえめやも
1182: 海人小舟帆かも張れると見るまでに鞆の浦廻に波立てり見ゆ
1183: ま幸くてまたかへり見む大夫の手に巻き持てる鞆の浦廻を
